The hand-made nature of mouth blown glass may result
in variations in shape, size and color. Each piece is
essentially free formed by a skilled artisan who gathers the
molten glass on the blow pipe and then skillfully blows,
forms, reheats, adds glass and sometimes other materials
to create the finished article. Disclaimer: This item features acrylic parts. The crystal clear acrylic that John-Richard uses on some items is a wonderful decorative material. Over time, very fine scratch marks may appear on the surface of the acrylic through normal dusting and cleaning. These small scratches can be easily removed using commercially available acrylic cleaning/repair products. Under no circumstances should any abrasive pads, cloths, etc., be used on acrylic. Items made of solid brass may tarnish over
time. Many people appreciate this natural
patina taken on by the metal. If the item
becomes unevenly patinated and you wish
to bring it back to its original look, you may
use commercially available brass cleaners to
bring back the sheen. Care should be taken
when using these cleaners not to damage
other materials that may be present as part
of the item.
